Annicia Streete is an Assistant Professor in the School of Architecture, College of Art and Design at Louisiana State University. Her multi-disciplinary academic background earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and a Master of Architecture at the University of Colorado Denver. Her research situates in studies of Afrofuturism, focusing on Building Technology practices of African Diasporic communities of the Caribbean, Afro-Latin America and Southern regions of the United States of America
