Deep Chaniara is an architectural designer and associate at Pickard Chilton with diverse experience in the design and construction of numerous international mixed-use, corporate, and commercial development projects. Originally from India, he grew up experiencing diverse and unique characteristics of culture and history which played a critical role in influencing his interest in architecture. He previously worked in Minnesota as well as in his home country of India, where he collaborated on a wide range of residential and commercial projects.
Active in numerous JEDI (Justice Equity Diversity Inclusion) programs, he previously served as a Board Member for NOMAct. He has been actively coordinating Pickard Chilton's internal JEDI efforts as well as serving as a studio ambassador for the AIA CT JEDI challenge. He is also engaged in various outreach and mentorship opportunities at Iowa State University where he received his Master of Architecture degree. During his time at Iowa State, he was also an active NOMAS member.
